My daily responsibilities were to oversee the general aspects of managing and growing the business while reducing costs. Having started with just two locations and a small team over the span of 8 years we successfully grew to a household name with several locations and more than 200 employees. In this time I lead the team responsible for expanding relationships with PPG Industries, Guardian, Sika, 3M, and Pilkington for the distribution of materials across the Southwest at substantial discounts by negotiating pricing terms and contracts. Successfully negotiated service contracts and cultivated business with Carmax, COX Communications, Enterprise Fleet and Jiffy Lube along with countless other dealership networks and car washes to promote the use of our materials and services.
• Worked with service managers, dealerships, and repair shops in the automotive field to secure and supply automotive related products to wholesale and consumer markets.
• Communicated the company’s annual growth projections & sales strategies to the CEO. Also budgeted, reviewed and approved monthly, quarterly and annual P&Ls.
• Directed the expansion of satellite locations by securing company assets and funding.
• Established operational objectives and work plans then communicated and delegated those assignments to subordinate managers.

Began as a call center agent and as a result of my sales performance and initiative over the span of my first year catapulted from Agent to Closer to Department Manager. In the first year, I successfully met or exceeded each sales goal given to me.
As a closer, I had the highest success rate and was able to drive sales for our shift to exceed 30% of all other shifts. As department manager, I applied those same principals to all shift increasing total performance by more than 20%.
Responsibilities as a Department Manager included; Priority 1 - Customer retention, 2 - Developing on existing customer and lead base, 3- Creating bid proposals for new contracts.
